The questions that come up most

Do I really not pay anything up front?

That's right. I research your business, design and build the whole website, and then show it to you finished. There's no deposit, no discovery fee and no obligation to take it. You only pay if you decide you want it.

How much does a website cost?

A one-page site is £400 and a full multi-page site is £600. Both are complete, hand-built websites rather than a template with your logo dropped in. Optional extras — deeper SEO work and ongoing maintenance — are listed on the services page.

How long does it take?

Usually one to two weeks from first contact to seeing the finished site, depending on how much material there is to work through. If you need it sooner for an opening or an event, say so and I'll work to that.

What do you need from me to get started?

Very little. Your business name and what you do is genuinely enough to begin — I research the rest. Photos, reviews and any branding you already have make the site better, but nothing is held up waiting for them.

Do I own the website afterwards?

Yes. The finished site is handed over to you on your own domain, and the code is yours. You're not renting it and you're not locked into a monthly contract to keep it online.

Do you only work with businesses in Leyland?

No — I'm based in Leyland and cover Leyland, Chorley, Preston, Wigan and the surrounding areas, and I'm happy to work with businesses further afield. Being local just means I can drop in and show you the site in person, which most people prefer.

What if I already have a website?

Then I'll tell you honestly whether it needs replacing. If your existing site is doing its job, I'll say so rather than sell you a new one. If it's slow, dated or invisible on Google, I'll show you what a rebuild would look like.

Will the site work on phones?

Every site is designed on a phone screen first, because that's where nearly all of your customers will see it. Desktop is checked afterwards, not the other way round.
